The same discipline, regardless of scale
Whether a watch comes in for a battery or a complete restoration, the intake process is identical: examination, written assessment, your approval, then work. The difference is only in the depth and duration of what follows.
We do not estimate timing figures for a mechanical service without running a multi-day observation. We do not hand back a vintage piece without a photographic record. These are not premium extras — they are how we do the work.
Phuket's tropical climate is factored into every service note. High humidity accelerates seal degradation, and we mention this plainly at every handback rather than waiting for the next fault to prompt the conversation.
Assessment without commitment
Every watch is examined and quoted before disassembly. You approve scope and price in writing before work starts.
Single-watchmaker continuity
The same person handles your piece from intake to handback. No internal handoffs between service steps.
Testing before handback
Water-resistance tested where applicable. Mechanical movements observed across positions over several days before the watch leaves the bench.
Written documentation with every job
Condition notes, work performed, and timing figures provided at collection. Photographic records for restoration work.

Battery Replacement &
Water-Resistance Check
A careful quartz cell change paired with a fresh gasket inspection and a basic resistance check. Suited to everyday quartz pieces whose owners want them ticking again without fuss. The case back is resealed, the exterior wiped down, and a short note on observed condition provided at handback.

BEST FOR
Everyday quartz watches that have simply stopped, or any quartz piece due for a routine battery check. Also appropriate for watches returning from extended storage.
SERVICE 02
Mechanical Movement
Full Service
Complete strip-down, ultrasonic cleaning, fresh lubrication, and reassembly of an automatic or hand-wound movement, followed by regulation across multiple positions. For owners of mechanical pieces that have not been opened in several years and have begun to run unevenly or to stop unexpectedly.

BEST FOR
Automatic or hand-wound pieces that have not been serviced in three or more years, are running unevenly, or have stopped without obvious cause. Also for inherited mechanical watches with unknown service history.
SERVICE 03
Vintage Timepiece
Restoration
Patient, end-to-end restoration of an older mechanical piece, balancing mechanical soundness with respect for original character and patina. For collectors and heirs caring for a watch of real sentimental or historical value. Sourcing period-correct parts takes time, and we do not rush that process.

BEST FOR
Watches from roughly 1940–1990 that hold sentimental or collector value. Chronographs, dress watches, field watches, dive pieces, and early automatic movements. Particularly suited to inherited pieces or watches with significant personal history.

WORKSHOP STANDARDS
How every job is handled
Secure custody throughout
Climate-controlled storage, locked overnight. Paper log records every movement. Insurance covers items in care.
Dry water-resistance testing
Pressure gauge only — no wet testing that could push moisture into a recently opened case.
Multi-position timing
Mechanicals regulated and observed in dial-up, dial-down, and crown positions over several days. Figures included in handback documentation.
Parts sourcing documented
All non-standard or sourced components logged by origin. Owner notified and approval required before any non-standard part is fitted.
Owner communication
You are contacted if scope changes or timelines shift. No work proceeds beyond approved scope without a conversation.
Tropical climate guidance
Service notes include Phuket-specific advice on seal maintenance and humidity exposure — relevant to anyone wearing a watch regularly near the sea.
